Brian Fleming

I am a product, interaction, and user experience design leader.

I have a strong affinity for early stage organizations who use technology to have an impact on their community.

As an early team member at multiple startups, I am experienced in taking under-specified ideas and translating them into engaging user experience and creative business outcomes. I thrive in collaborative cross-disciplinary teams.

As organizations mature, I focus on balancing individual contributions with building and managing effective teams, by creating efficient personalized processes that see them produce high quality deliverables on time and to-spec.

Who have you worked with?

I have been privileged to work with established companies like Gillette, Microsoft, Fidelity Investments, Millennium Pharmaceuticals and The Boston Red Sox, as well as up-and-coming startups like Yottaa, Tracelytics (now SolarWinds’ TraceView), Twine Health (now Fitbit, now Google Health), and Ambassador Labs.

I enjoy the challenge of working with organizations in spaces I have not previously experienced. This has led me to consulting, big data, healthcare, as well as entertainment.

I am currently Director of Product at Meedan a nonprofit focused on building digital tools and community-led programs that enhance the accessibility, reliability, and distribution of information.

Brian was a big reason why I joined Twine. His knowledge and respect of design, product, and engineering is immense. He cares deeply about the product and its UX, all the while balancing the needs of our clients. Although I was his direct report, Brian treated me as an equal and empowered me to do my job better.
